About Dr. Erin Hamilton
As a Los Angeles native, and long-time resident of our community, Dr. Hamilton enjoys working with the children and families of the South Bay. She grew up just a few miles away in Westchester and much of her family still lives locally. Her dream to become a physician originated while attending high school at Notre Dame Academy in West LA.
Erin began pursuing her medical interests as an undergraduate at Stanford University where she majored in Human Biology with a concentration in International Children's Health, and graduated with Departmental Honors in 1994.
In 1996, Erin began medical school at George Washington University in Washington, D.C.. While she enjoyed her time in our nation's capital, she always knew she would return to sunny Southern California. After graduating at the top of her class as member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society, Dr. Hamilton drove home to begin her pediatric residency at Harbor UCLA Medical Center.
During residency, aside from taking my medical career to the next level, Dr. Hamilton reacquainted herself with Southern California. She learned how to play volleyball, took many walks on the Strand in Hermosa Beach and, best of all, met her husband. Rob and Erin were married in Manhattan Beach in 2003. Now their family includes our two daughters, Kylie and Holly, and their dog Charlie.
In 2005, Dr. Hamilton took the opportunity to start her own practice. She enjoys the freedom and independence of an old fashioned solo practice where she knows she can provide high quality personal care in a small setting.
Guiding parents and children through the struggles of childhood and watching children grow into healthy adolescents brings Dr. Hamilton great joy. She is committed to listening to your questions, staying up to date with the latest in medicine, and helping you decipher complex medical information. With both knowledge and compassion, she will make your visits to her office a great experience.
